The Vivo X80 range, in which the Vivo X80 Pro is present, one of the phones with the best camera today, already has a successor. The Asian company has announced the new X90 family, which is currently made up of three models. On one hand, the I live X90, which stands out for its Dimensity 9200 processor and its triple camera of up to 50 megapixels. On the other, the I live X90 Pro, with very similar specifications to its little brother, but with a more advanced camera and bigger battery. The last one, and the flagship of the brand, is the I live X90 Pro+which arrives, among other novelties, with Qualcomm’s most powerful SoC to date.
The three Vivo X90, in fact, share many features. The screen, for example, is practically the same in all three versions. We find ourselves, therefore, with a p6.78-inch AMOLED panel that also includes a 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels. The quality of the Pro+ model, yes, is slightly higher, 3,200 x 1,440 pixels. Where we also do not see many differences is in appearance. The three models follow a design line very similar to the Vivo X80, with a circular photographic module on the back, flat frames at the top and bottom, and an all-screen front that stands out for its slight curvature on the sides.
The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro, on the other hand, have a processor Dimensity 9200 from Chinese MediaTek. They are also accompanied by 8 or 12 GB of RAM, as well as internal storage ranging from 128 GB to 512 GB. The Vivo X90 Pro+, on the other hand, packs a Qualcomm SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, one of the most powerful today that, in this case, is accompanied by 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of internal storage. All this, in addition, with a 4,810 mAh and 4,870 mAh battery in the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro respectively, as well as 4,700 mAh in the Pro+ model.
This is how the Zeiss cameras of the new Vivo X90 are
Alive, of course, has kept the collaboration with Zeiss in the camera of these Vivo X90. Cameras that also come with a very familiar configuration compared to the Vivo X80 Pro. It is also very similar between the three models.
The Vivo X90, for example, has a triple lens on its back. This is composed of a 50 megapixel primary sensor, which has an aperture f/1.75. It is accompanied by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, as well as a specific portrait sensor of the same resolution. On the other hand, the Vivo X90 Pro has the same setup and the sensors are also exactly the same. Except, yes, the portrait camera, which in this case goes up to 50 megapixels.
The Vivo X90 Pro also keeps that 50-megapixel main camera. Its aperture, however, is brighter, at f/1.6. The wide-angle sensor goes up to 48 megapixels and includes, as the main difference, a 64-megapixel resolution periscope lens that is capable of reaching a hybrid zoom up to 100X.
