The Witcher has turned out to be one of the productions of Netflix’s most successful With the launch of its second season, it has become one of the most-watched series in the history of the service. Now, taking advantage of the fact that the flame is still burning, it seems that Netflix has started the production of its third season.

Redanian Intelligence, a website specialized in franchising The Witcher, has published some of the most striking images. His report reads that “the work continues and Season 3 scripts are already written this way, they announce that the team behind the series has already started the pre-production stage for the third part of The Witcher.
Steve Gaub, producer of the Netflix adaptation of The WitcherHe shared a post on his Instagram account. In the caption, she writes: “Day 1 of Finding Locations for season 3 of @witchernetflix”. Of course, at the moment we do not know where the stage portrayed in the image is located; however, in Redanian Intelligence trust that will be close to Longcross Studios the new production center for The Witcher.
The first clue about the production of season 3 of The Witcher was published by Steve Gaub earlier this year. In the said publication, the producer commented on the images of doors and windows on the set of the series with a “Season 3. Here we go“.
Shortly after, he uploaded another post within Longcross Studios, claiming that “We are not going to be smaller in the third season of @witchernetflix.” Since then, the producer has made three more posts, two in a forest and one in what appears to be some kind of sewer.
Season 3 of ‘The Witcher’ will arrive in 2023, at the earliest
The production of season 3 of The Witcher will start in the middle of March 2022. However, it appears plans have changed at Longcross Studios. What is quite certain is that the new adventure of our favorite wizard will not arrive on Netflix until 2023, at least. The production of the second season suffered several setbacks due to COVID-19, an injury suffered by Henry Cavill, and many more misadventures. Let’s hope the same thing doesn’t happen this time.
