MWC 2023: Launched the Xiaomi 13 series with the 13, 13 Pro and 13 Lite models, we will tell you the details

Xiaomi launched its latest flagship phones Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 worldwide during Mobile World Congress 2023 (MWC 2023)a series that included the xiaomi 13lite and that surprised by its high prices.

While the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 launched late last year in China, they are now launching all over the world. The Xiaomi 13 Lite, on the other hand, is a slightly modified version of the Xiaomi Civi 2, which was also launched in China.

The launch of the Xiaomi 13 line bears the high-end small letters of the brand. Its international price is 1,299 euros, higher than any other flagship of the Chinese manufacturer.

It comes with a fresh new design, featuring a camera array that has a unique look, with clearly drawn lines and prominent Leica branding.

Xiaomi 13 Pro is equipped with a 2K AMOLED screen with a size of 6.73 inches. It is a 10-bit panel with support for HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision. It supports AdaptiveSync Pro, which can adapt to a refresh rate of 1-120 Hz. The screen is super bright and can reach up to 1900 nits, one of the brightest screens on a smartphone. The screen is also curved in that.

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, the latest and greatest from the brand. The phone offers up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.

In the camera section, the sensor is 1-inch, from Leica, 50MP with a focal length equivalent to 23mm and f/1.9 aperture. In addition, a 50MP 3.2x telephoto sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor help the main camera. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera.

Finally, the phone is backed by a 4820mAh battery, powered by 120W super fast charging. It also supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. The phone supports IP68 dust and water resistance. It comes with MIUI 14 out of the box, powered by Android 13.

For 999 euros you can buy the Xiaomi 13, the standard model of the series, which also comes with a new design language, but unlike Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi 13 has a square cut design similar to that of an iPhone, since it it doesn’t have a curved panel like the Pro.

Xiaomi 13 comes with a 6.36-inch Full HD+ display with 120Hz AdaptiveSync support. It can also go up to 1900nits like the Pro. The panel also supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

Xiaomi 13 is also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and has cameras from Leica, but they are not as powerful. It comes with a 50MP main camera, but not the Pro’s 1-inch sensor. As for the secondary cameras, we won’t be getting a pair of 50MP sensors, but instead a 10MP telephoto sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. . On the front though, the selfie camera remains the same at 32MP.

Xiaomi 13 Lite, possibly the one that will be the best seller

Being the Lite version, it is the cheapest: 499 euros. The design looks like an evolution of the 12 Lite, but it doesn’t share any similarities with the rest of the Xiaomi 13 series phones.

Xiaomi 13 Lite has a 6.55-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a cropped iPhone-like camera on the front, but no Dynamic Island.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, the latest chipset in the Snapdragon 7 series of chipsets and sits just below the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset in terms of performance.

It doesn’t have Leica-branded cameras, but instead a 50MP main camera, which is aided by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. We have a 32MP selfie camera and an 8MP depth sensor on the front. Interestingly, it comes with a dual selfie flash on the front.

The phone is backed by a 4500 mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. There is no wireless charging support with this phone. There is also no mention of IP68 or IP67 water resistance and it comes with MIUI 14, also based on Android 13.
