Motorola has just launched its new family of smartphones. This is the Motorola Razr 40 and Razr 40 and Ultra. Both phones are foldable and have premium features, thus promising an excellent combination of design and experience, all with cutting-edge technology.
With successes such as an external screen that allows you to use the main camera for selfies and videos; enhanced audio with powerful performance; and quality components, Motorola thus takes another step to continue competing in the high-end smartphone line.
“This is the launch of the Razr 40 and 40 Ultra family, a super foldable product from Motorola,” Nino Castellotti, Executive Director and General Manager of Motorola for Chile, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, told FayerWayer.

The launch is global in scope and will take place on June 1, 2023 in New York. However, they specified that these models “will reach selected markets in Latin America.”
From the company, yes, they confirmed to FayerWayer that the Razr 40 Ultra team will arrive in Chile soon. Price? They only asked to be attentive to the updates that Motorola is delivering.
What does this new family of smartphones bring?
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra version features an ultra-compact design and, in fact, upon launch is the industry’s slimmest foldable smartphone when closed. It’s not all: it features a powerful Snapdragon® 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform, an efficient battery, and the largest external display of any foldable phone.
Along those lines, Motorola also improved external display features so users can do more with the device closed, such as reply to messages, get directions or even use streaming apps like Netflix.
When it comes to image capture, this model incorporates a powerful 12MP main camera sensor with instant dual-pixel PDAF to deliver faster, more accurate performance regardless of lighting conditions.
Those who buy this smartphone will find a soft focus thanks to a wide aperture of f / 1.5 that lets in more light. In addition, the OIS system eliminates unwanted camera movement so that the photos are always sharp.

Added to this is a 32 MP camera for selfies and video calls, or keep your hands free by folding the phone into the ideal view for the perfect selfie. Rounding out the cameras is a 13MP lens ultrawide with macro vision that allows for wide-angle shots that fit 3 times more in the frame than a standard lens.
On the other hand, as detailed from Motorola, the Razr 40 Ultra model offers an improved audio experience with Dolby Atmos®, which delivers a richer multidimensional audio experience that provides more depth, clarity, and details of your favorite entertainment when you enjoy it at through the device’s two large stereo speakers or headphones.
And what is the difference with the Razr 40 model?
One of them is the external screen. In this version, it decreases in size, although the modality that allows users to see each other while taking the selfie is maintained anyway.
Important point: Both models run Android 13, with a rich set of security features such as ThinkShield, Moto Secure and Moto KeySafe.

Another detail? There is a special Motorola touch that nostalgics will love, as it includes an option to use a retro keyboard that you can see in the video that FayweWayer prepared. We will soon report on the technical aspects of this release.
