More than two hundred street children watched the game at the stadium on the invitation of Sylhet Strikers

At the invitation of Sylhet Strikers, more than 200 street children of ‘Chayatal Bangladesh’ organization sat and watched the game. These street children sit and watch the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 23rd match between Sylhet Strikers and Fortune Barisal at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday.

Children are very happy to go and enjoy Sylhet Strikers vs Fortune Barisal match live at National Stadium. Sylhet Strikers Director Saifur Raja Chowdhury (pathik), ‘Chayatal Bangladesh’ publicity editor Kakali Quader Nipa along with all the volunteers were present with the children.

Tamanna, a street child watching the game sitting in the stadium said, I have never watched a game sitting in the stadium before. I didn’t think I could sit here and watch. I am glad to see the game here today. We study, eat and drink here at ‘Shayatal Bangladesh’. Got here for them and Sylhet Strikers. I thank them.

‘Shadow Bangladesh’ runs 4 schools for underprivileged street children. Provides them with free books, notebooks, pens and educational materials. Gives vocational education to children in computer training, mobile servicing and sewing machine operation. Medical care is provided to children and their families by conducting free medical camps every month. The organization organizes music, dance, sports and distributes prizes to add entertainment. Also the leftover food from the community center is collected and fed to the children.
