Lugo dismisses Hernán Pérez after the 4-0 against Andorra

Lugo announced this Monday the dismissal of coach Hernán Pérez after the team lost 4-0 against Andorra on matchday sixteen of LaLiga SmartBank.

In a statement, the Galician club indicated that its “Administrative Council, meeting in extraordinary session, determined the dismissal” of the Asturian coach.

In addition to Hernán Pérez, who joined the team last summer after having managed the Real Madrid youth team, Clemente Sánchez and Adriá Díaz, who were part of the coaching staff, were fired.

Lugo thanked them for “their impeccable work, involvement, professionalism and disposition during the time they have been part” of the club and wishes them “the greatest personal and professional success in the future”.

Hernán Pérez leaves Lugo in relegation positions to the First Federation with fourteen points in sixteen games, three points from the zone of permanence.
