Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a joint press conference with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira as part of his official visit to Brazil. “We want the conflict in Ukraine to end as soon as possible,” Lavrov listed the conditions for the end of the war.
Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov went to Brazil to hold official talks. Meeting with his colleague Vieira, Lavrov held a joint press conference. Making statements regarding the Ukraine-Russia war at the press conference, Lavrov said, “We want the conflict in Ukraine to end as soon as possible. We explained in detail the reasons for what happened and the goals we pursued.”
Lavrov listed the conditions for the end of the war as follows:
“These plans primarily consist of ensuring that there is no threat to the security of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine. The West has been implementing such plans for many years. The second task is to protect Russian education, media, cultural is to protect the lives of the Russian-speaking population of eastern and southern Ukraine, which permanently bans activities and deliberately destroys millions of volumes of Russian-language books in Ukrainian libraries. “
