It is a matter of great curiosity which candidate Ümit Özdağ, Chairman of the Victory Party, one of the partners of the ATA Alliance, who disbanded after Sinan Oğan, who announced that he would support President Erdoğan in the second round of elections to be held on 28 May.
DEFERRED UPON DELAY
Özdağ, who postponed the press conference where he will announce his decision with a statement today, from 11:00 to 13:00, said that he postponed his highly anticipated decision until tomorrow by appearing in front of the cameras.
“IF WE AGREE, WE WILL MAKE A STATEMENT TOGETHER WITH KILIÇDAROĞLU”
Özdağ said, “We will have another meeting with Kılıçdaroğlu on the way back to Hatay,” and said, “Some face-to-face meetings are needed to get it signed. We will hold these meetings tonight, I hope. Here, we hope that we will carry out the process that has developed so far positively at this stage as well. If we can achieve this, tomorrow.” “We are planning to make a statement here with Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu at 11:00. We are shaping what is reflected in the protocol sensitively. We will share it with the public when it is finished,” he said.
“FIGHTING TERRORISM WHERE THE VICTORY PARTY WAS…”
Özdağ continued his words as follows; “We think that there should always be the opportunity for the Turkish state to appoint state administrators as trustees instead of local administrators related to terrorism, within one year, not voluntarily, but by force if necessary, in accordance with international law, in terms of Turkey’s security and in the fight against terrorism. Fighting against terrorism where the Zafer Party is located. and Turkey’s security is safe, you can be sure of that.”

Commenting on Sinan Ogan’s decision to support President Erdogan, Özdağ said, “It is Sinan Bey’s own discretion, he does not bind the Zafer Party. We think differently with Sinan Bey on this issue. Özdağ concluded his words by saying, “We think that no political organization related to terrorism that cannot call terrorism terrorism, even if it is legally legitimate as a victory party, is not politically legitimate. That is why it is indispensable for us to continue the fight against terrorism with the principle of zero tolerance.”
