Empty well during shooting
During an interview, Rishab Shetty told, ‘This sequence was very difficult, because it was a single shot with 360 degree shots and rain effects. It was very difficult to carry water to that place. So we asked the villagers there if we could draw water from the well there. The shoot went on for 6 to 7 days and we used the water from there. By the time the shoot was over, the water in the well had run out. It was very difficult.
both shoulders were in bad condition
Rishabh further told that both his shoulders were dislocated during the shooting. But still he continued working. He said, ‘I had a shoulder problem while rehearsing that scene. My shoulder was dislocated during the 360 degree shot. The next day, while shooting for another sequence, my other shoulder also got dislocated. Both my shoulders were dislocated, but I continued shooting.
‘Kantara’ has so far earned Rs 400 crore worldwide. With this, it has become the second highest-grossing Kannada film of all time. This film has left behind all the Hindi films that came this year. ‘Kantara’ is going to stream on Prime Video on 24 November.
