Jason Roy fined in Kolkata’s win

After losing four matches in a row in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Kolkata Knight Riders finally saw the face of victory. Jason Roy, the team’s opener, made the biggest contribution on the day when they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore. But immediately after winning the match, he got bad news. Penalties are calculated.

English star Jason Roy gave Kolkata a great start with Indian cricketer Narayan Jagadishwan coming to bat at the beginning of the match. Thus the group got the basis of a large collection. He stopped for 56 runs off 29 balls after completing his quick fifty. And an incident happened while going out.

But suddenly Roy was bowled out. And immediately after getting out, he hit the stumps. That’s why he got into trouble. Roy was accused of breaching Section 2.2 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct. After he pleaded guilty, no further formal hearing was required. Roy was fined 10 percent of his match fee by the match referee.

Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Jason Roy has been fined 10 percent of the match fee for breaching the code of conduct, the APL officials said in a statement. Roy admitted the charge level-1 under section 2.2.
