
India won the toss and went into bat against the Netherlands in the last match of the round robin league stage in the current World Cup. Batting, India took the team’s century in just 11 overs by attacking the Dutch bowlers.
Two Indian batsmen, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, started attacking the Dutch bowlers after batting at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
India completed their team’s half-century in just 6 overs with this pair. And 11 over 4 balls took the team century.
Meanwhile, Shubman Gill took his personal half century. He scored 50 runs off just 30 balls. However, despite picking up a half-century, he could not take his innings far.
After scoring 51 runs off 32 balls, Paul van Meekeren’s ball was caught at deep backward square by Teja Nidamanuru and returned to Sajghar. India’s opening pair broke 100 runs on his departure.
Bangladesh’s Champions Trophy game depends on India’s victory in today’s match. The entire Bangladesh will support India today.
If India wins today’s match, Bangladesh will get a chance to play in the Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan in 2025. But the Tigers will lose the opportunity to play in the Champions Trophy if the Dutch lose to India by accident or if the match is postponed due to rain.
