Lebanon has started to implement a plan to send Syrian refugees back to their homeland. With a population of 6.7 million, Lebanon ranks first in the world in terms of the number of refugees per capita, with approximately 1.5 million Syrians.

Lebanese authorities say about the refugee problem in the country, that local people have lost their jobs, there has also been an explosion in the number of thefts and criminal crimes, and that one out of every two newborns is Syrian.
