The national soccer team, Montse Tomé, appeared at a press conference after knowing Spain’s list for the Nations League matches against Italy and Sweden. Tomé has been questioned about what happened with Gavi in relation to the presence in his call-up to the Blaugranas Alexia Putellas and Irene Paredes. Both are not medically discharged and have been left off the FC Barcelona list to face Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League this Tuesday. “They are two special cases. We have monitored them at all levels. We have called up 25 players, I suppose that has caught your attention because there are 23 in the call. On Monday we will evaluate them and work with them on the line that we can. Then we will make the decisions we have to make, ensuring the safety of the players and without forcing anything,” she explained.
