After the announcement, a press conference was held from Red Square, in the Russian capital, together with Pavel Pivarov, general director of the club.
“We already wanted to finalize these signings, which were very complicated and we are going to do everything possible so that you bring us more victories,” said the manager.
“I am very happy to come to this institution and I know that I can contribute a lot,” said Luis Chávez during his presentation, where he will wear the number 24 shirt.
“These are dreams and goals that one has as a child, it was the first team that contacted us and we knew the confidence they had in us and I wanted to fulfill my dream of coming to Europe. In the end, you have to follow your convictions,” said the national team.
“I am privileged to be living this. After being in the MX league for a long time, now I feel very responsible to comply so that more Mexicans can come,” Luis Chávez said in a conference.
Chávez, 27, made his debut with Tijuana in 2014 and was a Tuzos player from 2019 to the Clausura 2023.
Chávez participated in his first World Cup in Qatar 2022 and was part of the team that won the last edition of the Gold Cup.
The midfielder also won a league championship with Pachuca in the Apertura 2022.
