Before the 2nd round of the presidential elections to be held on May 28, the Chairman of the Country Party, Muharrem İnce gathered the A Team. The Central Executive Board of the Country Party came together to determine who it will support in the second round elections.
“WE WILL NOT REPORT AN OPEN SUPPORT”
No decision was made to support any of the candidates at the meeting. Homeland Party will remain neutral in the second round of elections. Ince said, “We are where we were when we withdrew. We will not declare open support.”

On the other hand, Homeland Party Founder and Party Assembly Member Ömer Özdoğan shared on his social media account, “After all these events, no one should try to put pressure on us. There is no need for a new statement. We stand by our word. Neither the Republic nor the Nation says One Way Homeland, we continue from where we left off. “History will weigh us down. It is not for anyone to judge! It is good for our country,” he said.
