Afghanistan’s captain Hashmatullah Shahidi returned to 80 runs despite raising hopes of a century. He returned lbw to Kuldeep Yadav.
After winning the toss and losing three wickets against India, he partnered with Azmatullah Omarzai. After Azmatullah, he also picked up a personal half-century, he scored 58 runs in 58 balls. Which includes 5 fours.
When Azmatullah Omarzai returned with 62 off 69 balls, Mohammad Nabi continued to fight alone. Slowly he was moving towards the century.
But he had to go back after 80 runs. After his departure, the Afghans were once again in trouble.
