The Valencian club has not confirmed the figures of the agreement in the statement in which he reported on it, although various sources suggest that Valencia will receive a fixed of about 30 million euros which can increase depending on certain variables.
Guedes arrived at Valencia in the summer of 2017 on loan from PSG and after starring in a brilliant debut campaign, the following summer the Valencian club took over his property in an operation closed directly by its largest shareholder, peter limfor 40 million euros plus variables.
In the following seasons at the club, Guedes, affected by various injuries, was much more irregular and, in fact, he lost his place in the team. Finally, definitively reconverted by Javi Gracia as second striker, Guedes once again became one of the team’s referencesalthough Valencia was already fighting for minor goals, something that was repeated last season.
After having been one of the references of the Valencian team this preseason, Guedes did not enter the squad list for Saturday’s match against Atalanta in the Orange Trophy and the coach Gennaro Gattuso announced an imminent departure which has finally materialized.
In its statement, the club thanked him for his professionalism as a Valencia player and wished him good luck in this new stage of his career.
