While the provocations of Greece against Turkey in the Aegean and Mediterranean have increased recently, Greek Prime Minister Kiryakos Mitsotakis, who went to New York within the scope of the UN summit, also complained about Turkey here.

Making statements to an agency yesterday, Miçotakis again took refuge in the United States. He stated that they always acted in accordance with international law. Drawing attention to the relationship between America and Greece, Mitsotakis said that they will try every way to strengthen their alliance.

“No one can bully Greece. I will say the rest at the UN on Friday,” Mitsotakis said.

He also complained about Turkey to Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid, whom he met in New York. He also claimed that Turkey is undermining stability and security in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Mitsotakis also conveyed his complaints to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. Complaining that President Erdoğan invited countries to recognize the TRNC at the UN Chair, Miçotakis claimed that Turkey rejected the Security Council resolutions.

He said Athens has always acted on the basis of International Law, the provisions of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea and the principles of good neighborliness. In another news in Kathimerini, it was stated that President Erdogan was slandering Greece over the immigration problem, while Mitsotakis would respond to all these from the UN tribune.
