Giants’ success translates into six EBLive Awards nominations

The Giants club from Málaga is widely represented in the finals of the second edition of the EBLive Awards recognized esports awards in Spain and whose jury is made up of important players from the national scene of competitive video games. After the nomination period concludes, Giants opt to take the award in six categories different with finalists in each of them. The gala will take place at the Adán Martín Auditorium in Tenerife within the framework of the Tenerife GG Festival next Friday, July 14, the awards ceremony will begin at 10:00 p.m. (peninsular time).

The EBLive Awards are the annual awards given by Esports Business Live in recognition of “excellence, work and social activism of professionals and organizations of the esports industry in Spain”. This includes “publishers, promoters, teams, content distribution platforms, brands, advertisers and any other agent whose work and performance has contributed to the development of the esports business.”

102,441 votes cast in the nomination process they have turned this second edition of the EBLive Awards “into the greatest scrutiny in the history of the Spanish-speaking esports sector,” they point out from the organization.

Giants aspires to awards in six different categories by being a finalist in ‘Esports Team of the Year‘; in ‘Entrepreneurs of the year‘, are candidates Virginia Calvo and José Ramón Díaz, club owners; in the of ‘Esports Player of the Year‘, Adolfo Gallego appears ‘fit1nho‘, one of the best Valorant players in Spain and Europe; in the category ‘Best partnership agreement‘, the alliance is nominated Giants and Costa del Sol Tourism; in ‘Best innovative project‘, opt for the prize Giants Innovation Hub, a space that seeks to support technological projects that will transform the internet and the gaming industry; and in the award to ‘Best journalist of the year‘, is candidate Álvaro Rodríguez ‘Lembo‘, Giants content creator specializing in Valorant.

In the first edition of the EBLive Awards, held in 2022, Giants won two awards: a ‘Best business career‘ and ‘Entrepreneur of the year‘, which fell into the hands of Virginia Bald, co-owner of the entity. The Malaga esports organization then obtained five nominations.
