After his demonstrations on the Tour of Flanders and the Amstel Gold Race, the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar seems to be unbeatable and aligns himself with the Classic with the label of big favorite. “The next race is La Flèche, a very hard race for me. But I’m in good shape and I have a good team, so we can get a result” explained the double winner of the Tour de France after his victory over the Amstel on Sunday 16 April.

Triple winner of the race, Julian Alaphilippe will not be present on the Classic, he who is still injured in the knee after his fall on the Tour of Flanders. Mikel Landa (Bahrain Victorious), Giulio Ciccone (Trek-Segafredo), Benoît Cosnefroy (AG2R Citroën), Tom Pidcock (INEOS Grenadiers) Mattias Skjelmose (Trek-Segafredo), Ruben Guerreiro (Movistar) or the Belgians Lennert Teugels (Bingoal- WB) and Quentin Hermans (Alpecin-Deceuninck) will be to follow on the race.
