The transport service of the second line of the Cableway in Los Alcarrizos will be free starting this Tuesday, May 2, announced the Dominican governmentabout the inauguration, which was held today.
Residents of the Los Alcarrizos municipality will be able to use the cable car Monday to Friday, from 6:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon. In the afternoon, the service will be available from 4:00 to 9:00 at night.
The hours will be as follows: weekends: The Cable Car will operate on Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., while on Sundays and holidays it will be operating from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
On May 30 the commercial operations of the aforementioned transport, with hours from 6:00 in the morning until 10:30 at night, with a cost of RD$35, which includes the services of the cable car and the buses of the Metropolitan Office of Bus Services (OMSA). .
The cabins have capacity for 12 people and are equipped with a small solar panel that supplies electricity to the units, as well as a surveillance and security camera.
According to the Executing Unit for the Readjustment of Neighborhoods and Environments (URBE), the route will take 15 minutes from Station 1 of Los Alcarrizos to Station 4 in Los Americanos, with capacity for 4,500 passengers per hour in each direction.
