Finally, Shakib broke the Conway-Williamson pair

New Zealand lost the first wicket in 12 runs after going into bat against the target of 246 runs given by Bangladesh. After losing the first wicket, Devon Conway and skipper Kane Williamson formed a partnership. Bangladesh’s bowlers could not break their pair despite a thousand attempts.

Finally captain Shakib Al Hasan broke this pair. Trapped lbw, he returned Devon Conway who scored 45 off 59 balls. As a result, Conway-Williamson’s 80-run partnership was broken.
