Final classification of the sprint race of the United States GP, with Sainz, 6th and Alonso, 13th

Max Verstappen dominated the United States GP sprint from start to finish and has shown that a comeback from sixth place on the grid in tomorrow’s race is more than possible. The Dutchman, who after sentencing the title two weeks ago in Qatar is seeking his 15th victory of the season and the 50th of his life in F1, was much superior at the Circuit of the Americas this Saturday and finished with more than nine seconds of advantage over Lewis Hamilton.

The seven-time champion beat Charles Leclerc at the start and secured second place in the sprint against the Monegasque, who finished third. Carlos Sainz was sixth and Fernando Alonso, thirteenth.
