England is below Bangladesh in the points table after losing against Australia

In their seventh match in the current World Cup, England were bowled out for 253 runs against the target of 287 runs given by Australia. As a result, Australia won by 33 runs. The win took Pat Cummins’ side one step closer to the semi-finals. And overall, the English are at the bottom of the points table with 2 points in one win.

The English lost 2 wickets for only 19 runs when they came down to bat against the target of 287 runs given by Australia. David Malan and Ben Stokes led the team by losing 2 wickets. These two batsmen took individual half-centuries against Ajid today.

After 4 wickets for 117 runs, Marnus Labuchen formed a partnership with Cameron Green. 61 runs came from this pair. After scoring 71 runs off 83 balls, Adil Rashid’s ball got LBW and this pair was broken.

Marnus Labuchen was followed by half-century hopeful Cameron Green. He returned after scoring 47 runs off 52 balls. In the end Ajira was all out for 286 runs in 49 overs 3 balls.
