killed Twitter a few weeks ago by changing its name to X. Since then we have seen how gradually the tycoon has been implementing that have left the platform a little unrecognizable.
But according to the most recent declarations of Linda Yaccarino, who is supposed to serve as CEO of the company, Elon Musk would have many more changes ready in the short term to turn X into a completely different social network than it is now.
Yaccarino was interviewed in CNBC’s Squawk on the Street and Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report has finished by sharing some of his most disturbing statements about the modifications they will implement:
“Elon will transform Twitter into X: the everything app. A global plaza powered by free expression, where the public will come together in real time. Soon you will be able to make video calls without having to give your phone number to anyone on the platform.
The rebrand truly represented a liberation of Twitter, a liberation that allowed us to evolve beyond a legacy mindset and thinking and reimagine how everyone who listens and watches in Spaces.
Around the world, it’s going to change how we congregate, how we entertain, how we transact, all in one place.”
This is what the executive points out, without much hiding the fact that all these changes would be being promoted by Musk himself, who supposedly abandoned his position as CEO to, in theory, give Yaccarino space to be the one to rescue the operation. Twitter Financial.

The company became a leader in advertising revenue globally. Which helped Yaccarino stand out in that field where Elon Musk desperately needs to penetrate maximizing the profits of his social network.
Elon Musk and the loss of value of Twitter
Yaccarino is a respected executive in the media industry, however as CEO of Twitter, Yaccarino faces the challenge of rebuilding advertiser trust in the platform.
Elon Musk bought Twitter for USD $44 billion and there are firm reports that that acquisition of that initial sale value.
Yaccarino’s entry responded to the urge to remove Musk as the person making all the critical decisions that were collapsing the business.
But in these months everything seems to suggest that the executive has not fulfilled the role of CEO per se, but rather as Musk’s assistant.
