The board of directors of the Dominican Tourist Press Association (Adompretur) reported that it is working on the assembly of the edition XIX of the National Award for Tourism Journalism Epifanio Lantigua 2023; while urging the journalists and communicators to participate in this contest sponsored by mitur and the Popular Bank.
Yenny Polanco Lovera, president of Adompretur highlighted that this award is very important “because it allows us to bring to light the work and effort that our professionals in the tourist journalism, in which they present the attractions of Dominican Republic, but they also denounce the situations that affect our destinations, always with the aim of improving our offer”.
Likewise, he urged journalists and communicators to collect the works that they have published in print, television and digital media “so that when we announce the date of reception they are ready to take them to our office with their profile of one page and two high-resolution photographs. resolution”.
Polanco Lovera indicated that the organizing team together with the representatives of the jury are working on the revision and update of the bases of the PEL 2023which will soon be published with all the information on the website www.adompretur.com.
“Organizing this award is a great challenge, for this reason, we are motivating journalists and communicators to start compiling their work so that they can be delivered to our office, on the dates that we will inform later,” said the president of Adompretur.

From the winners of these categories, the jury will choose the winner of the grand prize.
The works must be physically delivered to the Adompretur office, located in the building of the Dominican College of Journalists, on George Washington Avenue, Horacio Vicioso corner, second level, Centro de los Héroes, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
