Serbian star Novak Djokovic became the champion for the tenth time after defeating Greek tennis star Stefanos Titsipas in the Australian Open final. And by winning this title, he equaled Rafael Nadal’s record. Both have managed to win the Grand Prix a maximum of 22 times.
Earlier, the Spanish star held the record of winning the highest Grand Slam in the history of tennis. Last year, Nadal secured his 22nd Grand Slam title by defeating Casper Rudd in the Australian Open final. Tsitsipas was ignored by Djokovic in the final of this year’s Australian Open. He lost the first set of the match by 6-3 game points. The Greek star turned around in the second set. But when the set ended at 6-6, he lost 7-4 in the tiebreaker.
