Directorate of Communications: The ballot box numbers did not change in the second round elections

In the presidential election, which took place on 14 May, none of the candidates received enough votes to win. In this case, President Erdoğan, who received 49.5 percent of the vote, and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who received 44.8 percent of the vote, will meet again in the second round of elections to be held on 28 May.

As Turkey prepares to go to the polls once again on May 28, various allegations are made on social media. Finally, since the ballot box numbers have changed, there have been rumors that the ballot boxes cannot be found with the old voter paper. The Directorate of Communications Center for Combating Disinformation responded to these allegations on its social media account.
