Comilla Victorians scored 164 runs for 6 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs at the beginning of the second match of the day in BPL held in Mirpur. As a result, Dhaka Dominators need 165 runs to win.
Dhaka Dominators, who have lost five matches in a row, won the toss at the start of the match and invited Comilla to bat. Comilla did not have a good start after losing the toss and batting. They lost two openers for 35 runs in 6.1 overs. Mohammad Rizwan was out for 3 runs and Liton Kumar Das was out for 20 runs.
Team leaders Imrul Kayes and Johnson Charles handled the pressure in the third wicket pair. The runs of both bats increased. However, no one managed to increase the personal score. Later, Comilla’s Pakistani all-rounder Khushdil Shah gave the team some valuable runs in a stormy batting. He scored 30 runs in just 17 balls. Apart from this, Zaker Ali remained unbeaten on 20 runs and Abu Haider Rony on 11 runs.
