Devils are swept away by the Sultans in Monterrey

The Sultans of Monterrey they took out the broom and swept the Red Devils of Mexico by defeating them five runs to four in the last of the series at the Sultan Palace.

After having swept the Tigres de Quintana Roo in the first series of the season, the scarlets arrived at Sultana del Norte undefeated and with a 3-0 record, however, now they play .500 ball and already have the same number of wins than losses.

The other side of the coin is the Sultans, who came to this series with two defeats against Laguna and now with the three victories in a row they put their record at 4-2 to climb positions in the northern zone.

Both teams will rest this Thursday to open the series on the weekend, the capital’s will visit the Saraperos de Saltillo and the Monterrey host the Mariachis of Guadalajara.
