Traffic-Tezgaon Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) organized “DC Cup Cricket Tournament-2023” to increase mutual relations, sincerity and enthusiasm among policemen and to keep morale strong.
This tournament was organized by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Tejgaon Division, Saheed Al Masud.
A total of four teams participated in the DC Cup. The teams are – Mohammadpur Traffic Zone, Tejgaon Traffic Zone, Shere-Bangla Nagar Traffic Zone and DC Traffic Office.
Yesterday (Thursday) at 3 pm Mohammadpur traffic zone cricket team and Sherbangla Nagar cricket team participated in the final competition. There, Mohammadpur traffic zone beat Shere Bangla Nagar traffic zone and became the champion.
Deputy Police Commissioner of Tejgaon Division Saheed Al Masud presented the champion trophy and runner-up trophy among the players as the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony.
Besides, additional deputy police commissioner of traffic Tejgaon division Md. Jahangir Alam and other members of police including AC of all zones were present.
