A conflict between players of the canada national team with its directors has exploded after the members of the squad disagree with the prizes and bonuses that the federation of their country intends to give them after having qualified in first place in the Concacaf qualifier for the Qatar World Cup.
Both parties have not reached an agreement and as a consequence Canada was forced to cancel the friendly match they had scheduled for this Sunday against Panama, in Vancouver.

According to information from the press in that country, the problem began in April when new contracts were signed with the Canadian teams for qualification for Qatar and bonuses depending on how far they go in the World Cup.
The federation received 10 million dollars for the World Cup classification of which the directors want to allocate 10% to the squad when they expect it to be at least 40%.
So far none of the players has spoken about it.
