Chris Pratt is happy to play Star Lord, gets emotional on the question

Marvel’s film ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ has hit the theaters. Aaj Tak/India Today spoke to actor Chris Pratt who plays Peter Quill aka Star Lord in the film. Chris asked what he learned from his character Peter and whether he shares any similarities with his superhero avatar. The actor became emotional on this.

Chris Pratt says, ‘It is very difficult to say. There have been many changes in my life after getting the role of Peter Quill. I like to think that Peter and I are one soul. This divine spark was there in both of us earlier also. I think it was because of this opportunity that I got to express myself through my character and in turn it opened up my career in real life as well. There was a big change in the way I make friends and fans in the world.

Chris further said, ‘I travel to those places where I used to dream of going. I can walk into a room with sick kids dressed as Star Lord and they’ll all smile at me and we’ll share moments together. I get emotional thinking about this. I consider myself very lucky that I got a chance to play this character for so long and the fans have also embraced it and helped us to take it forward. It is a matter of respect.

The film ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3’ has done wonders worldwide. Since its release, fans are giving a lot of love to this film. The film is getting good response worldwide. At the domestic box office, the film has collected a collection of $114 million i.e. Rs 933 crore. With this, it has become the second film of the year 2023 to have the biggest opening weekend.

Zoe Saldana has worked with Chris Pratt in the film ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3’ produced by director James Gunn. Actor Bradley Cooper has given his voice to the character of Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel has given his voice to the character of Groot.
