Shanghai (China).- The Chinese will be able to travel abroad as a group again as of February 6 after almost three years of vetoing these trips within the framework of the national ‘zero covid’ policy, reports the news portal Shanghainese Shine.
According to the Asian giant’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, as of that date, group travel will be authorized again, although initially only to around twenty countries, including popular destinations in the region such as Thailand or Indonesia.
Two Latin American nations also stand out in this first list: Cuba and Argentina.
The virtual travel agency Trip.com revealed that searches for group trips abroad shot up 500% immediately after the announcement, made this Friday.
