Tinder, Bumble and other apps Dating sites have found an absolutely unexpected new ally to help their users meet the supposed ultimate goal of these sites: Artificial Intelligence from ChatGPT.
OpenAI Generative Artificial Intelligence is currently the most popular on the planet. During the last months we have seen how it has been applied in different fields with results that were impossible to conceive even just a couple of years ago.
Google Bard, Midjourney and other systems have been a great support tool for the creation of illustrations, photorealistic images and texts that increase the productivity of those who use this technology.
But something that perhaps very few thought is that this platform could be used to refine and polish user profiles in dating applications in order to meet new people.

A report from colleagues from Business Insider reveal the data of a recent study by the firm Attractiontruth, who have surveyed 2,371 men to inquire about their habits of using dating apps and their “methodology” for creating their profiles.
The central point of the investigation was to be able to determine if they had already chosen to start using Generative Artificial Intelligences such as Midjourney or ChatGPT to feed their accounts and achieve better results.
The big surprise here was discovering that 20% of the people participating in the project confirmed that they are currently using Artificial Intelligence tools such as OpenAI and other similar ones to create attractive biographies for their profiles.
Regardless of the objective results of this help, at least the simple fact of resorting to the tool would help the confidence of the users themselves.
Since 37% of the participants who revealed that they used an AI actively stated that this help made them feel more secure against the existing “competition” against other profiles to be chosen.
In parallel, users who resort to ChatGPT say they feel that their abilities to interact through the messaging interface of these dating apps would have improved substantially.
The AI would have been used by respondents for profile information, but would also be used to suggest conversation starters and potential original or engaging answers on specific questions or topics.
In other words, ChatGPT is the new wingman potential of any Tinder users.
