Casa Oliver developed its annual day of Beach cleaningunder the new slogan “green steps”, which defines its corporate social responsibility policy.
“We have begun this new stage of social commitment with Pasos Verdes, a new path that seeks to take firm steps in order to guarantee the balance between the economic growth of the company and care for the environment,” said the general director of Casa Oliver, Ana Catherine Cespedes.
In the activity that took place in Playa Manresa, Rompeolas, in the National District, volunteers from the manufacturer of Rum Puntacana Club, managed to collect more than 2,700 pounds of solid waste.
With these actions Casa Oliver seeks to contribute to the preservation of coastal and marine ecosystems, and promote a culture of commitment to the preservation of the environment among its collaborators. The activity had the support of the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources and the coordination of the Tony TirCo Foundation.
