Cañete la Real will host the weekend of September 2 and 3 the Women’s Futsal Cup of Andalusia, in which four teams will participate: Atlético Torcal, Martos FS, El Ejido Futsal and Guadalcacín.
The Vice President for Economic and Social Development and Deputy for Sports, Juan Rosas, presented this competition yesterday together with the mayor of Cañete la Real, Andrés Morón; the president of the Andalusian Women’s Football Commission, Meritxell Rubio; and the president delegate of the Royal Andalusian Football Federation in Malaga, José González. The president of Atlético Torcal, Daniel Cortés, also attended.
The champion of the last two editions of this competition and who will seek to revalidate the title is the Atlético Torcal team from Malaga, who has managed to return to the elite of women’s futsal this year. In this way, it will be the only Andalusian representative in the highest category.
