Founded in New Orleans in 1972, Popeyes boasts more than 50 years of culinary history and tradition. Popeyes distinguishes itself with a unique New Orleans-style menu, influenced by African, Cajun and Louisiana Creole heritage, featuring the signature chicken sandwich, spicy chicken, chicken tenders, fried shrimp and other delicious crisps.
Popeyes Famous Chicken is freshly prepared, marinated at least 12 hours in flavorful Cajun, traditional Louisiana seasonings, battered and breaded by hand, slow cooked to perfection using proprietary seasonings and techniques for juicy, crispy chicken. The menu is curated by an in-house team of professionally trained chefs with a passion for honoring the past while innovating Louisiana flavor, food and traditions.
