“Cash or card?”This is a common question in the Dominican Republic, but it perfectly applies to the second cable car line in The Alcarrizosinaugurated this Monday.
And it is that the transport service will accept payments with Credit and debit cards available on the market that use EMV technology (Wells payment or contactless payment), as explained in a statement by the Executing Unit for the Readjustment of Neighborhoods and Environments (URBE).
Also, it will be used rechargeable card at the Santo Domingo Metro ticket offices.
The URBE indicated that they will include systems of digital wallet payments, these are: the MIO service of BanReservas, Billet del BHD, PagaTodo, CSQ and Disashop, however, it was not specified if these payment methods will be available from May 30.

Residents of the Los Alcarrizos municipality will be able to use the cable car Monday to Friday, from 6:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon. In the afternoon, the service will be available from 4:00 to 9:00 at night.
The hours will be as follows: weekends: The Cable Car will operate on Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., while on Sundays and holidays it will be operating from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
