Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva stated that he condemned Russia for “violating the territorial integrity of Ukraine”. During his official visit to China, Lula stated that the United States should stop promoting war.
Brazilian President Lula made a statement to the press after his meeting with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis. Lula stated that he condemned Russia for “violating Ukraine’s territorial integrity”. Stating that he supports peace and dialogue in his statement, Lula said, “While my government condemns the violation of Ukraine’s territorial integrity, we advocate a negotiated political solution to the conflict. I expressed our concerns about the effects of the war beyond the European continent. “We need to create a group of countries that will try to achieve this,” he said.
“LULA MADE HIS SPEECHES” Lula made statements to the press at the end of her official visit to China and stated that the United States should stop promoting war. Following the aforementioned statement, the White House said that Lula “repeated propaganda from China and Russia like a parrot.” While the Estado de Sao Paulo newspaper announced Lula’s statements with the headline “Lula changed its tone and denounced the invasion of Ukraine”, the G1 news channel said, “Lula softened his rhetoric.”
Brazilian President Lula stated that the USA should stop promoting the war recently and said, “I think China has a very important role, I keep repeating that China probably has the most important role. Another important country is the United States of America. In other words, the United States should stop promoting war and start talking about peace. The European Union also needs to start talking about peace so we can convince Putin and Zelensky that peace is in everyone’s interest. I think it’s possible. It’s not an easy thing. You know a family fight is very difficult, once it starts we don’t know how it will end, and war is the same thing.”
