The Brazilian National Team surprised the world by targeting Pep Guardiola as its main candidate to be its coach, starting in 2023.
And it is that, according to information from Brand Journal, the canarinha I would look for Guardiola after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, given the imminent departure of coach Tité.
This was revealed by Juninho Paulista, coordinator of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), in an interview with the same medium, where he stated that Tité would leave his post after the World Cup.
Given this situation, the Confederation is already thinking about the future, which is why the current Manchester City coach is their main objective, an idea led by the new president Ednaldo Rodrigues.
The report indicates that the Brazilian team would offer him a salary of 12 million euros net. So far it is unknown if there have been previous talks between Guardiola and the confederation.
This agreement would be from July 2023 (when Pep ends his relationship with Manchester City) until June 2026, when the World Cup in Mexico-United States-Canada is played.
Brazil, led by Tité, was the leader of the tie in Conmebol, and is emerging as one of the candidates to lift the World Cup, in Qatar, at the end of this year.
It should be remembered that Pep Guardiola has pointed out on more than one occasion that, after finishing his contract with Manchester City, one of his aspirations is to lead a national team.
