The Málaga Water Polo Sports Club experienced the bitterest side of water polo by losing by a single goal, scored by the rival team in the last second. Water Polo Dos Hermanas won 11-10 in the Andalusian derby and is getting some air after having won only one match out of four played. The match was even until the last second: several alternatives on the scoreboard, continuous comings and goings and great effectiveness in the actions.
Water Polo Málaga had the opportunity to win, since they could not score a goal in several plays of superiority and failed in penalty actions. The team found physical and psychological wear and tear when they were two down in the last quarter. In the last 16 seconds, two timeouts were called and the final moments were very tense, the luck of the local side fell in what was a great game. Andalusian water polo enjoyed a party yesterday and both teams will have a lot to say in this national category this season.
