Bangladesh started the Asiad losing to 10-man Myanmar

Bangladesh’s under-23 football in the Asian Games did not start well. The red-green representatives lost 1-0 to 10-man Myanmar in the match held at Hangzhou Jiaoshan Sports Center.

Bangladesh is slightly behind Myanmar in terms of power. However, the first half was a close fight. There was no goal in the entire 45 minutes of the first half.

However, in the second half, Bangladesh footballers could not keep their net intact. Myanmar got the desired goal in the 67th minute of the match. However, the goal was not scored by any Myanmar footballer. Bangladesh fell behind with Murad’s suicide goal.

In the 75th minute of the match, when a defender saw a red card, Myanmar became a team of ten. But even then, Bangladesh could not return to the match. In the end, the representatives of red and green could return to parity despite their best efforts. The match ended with a 1-0 goal difference.
