Bangladesh girls stopped India for 102 runs

In the third and final T20 match of the three-match series in Mirpur, India could not benefit from the excellent bowling of the great Bangladeshi bowlers. The visitors stopped at only 102 runs for 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. As a result, Bangladesh need to score 103 runs to avoid a whitewash.

Indian team captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and decided to bat at the start of the match at Mirpur Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium. After winning the toss and batting, India did not get off to a good start. Opener Smt. Mandhana returned with 1 run from 2 balls. Another opener Shefali Burma scored 11 runs off 14 balls.

The team leader Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemima Rodriguez continued to play in the third wicket pair. At this time, the two made a pair of 45 runs. That’s why India started moving towards 100 houses. Jemima got out with 24 runs off 26 balls. Harmanpreet Kaur scored 40 runs off 41 balls. Besides, Yashtika Batia scored 12, Amanjot Kaur 2, Pooja Bhastrekar 2, Dipti Sharma 4 and Minnu Mani 1.

Rabeya Khan took maximum three wickets for Bangladesh. Sultana Khatun got two wickets. Besides, Nahida, Fahima and Swarna got one wicket each.
