Bangladesh gave Irish a target of 275 runs

Bangladesh scored 274 runs for all wickets in the scheduled 48.5 overs at the start of the third and final one-day match of the three-match series at Chelmsford. As a result, the Irish need to score 275 runs to save the series.

At the beginning of the match, the Irish captain Andy Balbirnie invited Bangladesh to bat after winning the toss. After losing the toss, the anointed Rony Talukder came back to bat for just 4 runs. Nazmul Hossain, who was batting positively at the second wicket, got out for 35 runs off 32 balls.

Opener and team leader Tamim Iqbal ruled the Irish bowlers with Liton Das in the third wicket pair. At this time, the two scored 70 runs together. Liton was out for 35 runs. And the half-centurion of the previous match Tawhid Hridiya was out for just 13 runs.

Tamim is playing on his own. After 9 long matches, he has seen fifty in ODIs. After that, Tiger team leader and opener Tamim could not last long. He got out for 69 runs.

Mushfiqur Rahim played brilliantly with Mehdi Hasan Miraj in the sixth wicket partnership. At this time, the two made a pair of 104 runs. That’s why the Tigers got fighting capital. But there was a chance to take the team’s innings to over three hundred. But it was not possible when Mushfiq returned with 45 runs and Miraj returned with 37 runs. Later, Mrityunjoy 8, Hasan 1 and Mustafiz were dismissed for zero runs. Ibadat remains unbeaten by 1 run.

Mark Adair took the maximum four wickets for Ireland. George Dorcrell and Andy McBreen took two wickets each. Another wicket was seen by Craig Young.
