Bangladesh drew despite falling behind

Bangladesh fell behind by one goal in the second and last football match of the two-match series against Afghanistan. However, the red-green representatives did not accept defeat. The match was drawn with 1-1 goal difference. As a result, the series is also a draw.

No team was victorious in the first match of the series. The visitors enjoyed two goals in the second match but the first match was a goalless draw. As a result, the second match was the series decider.

The two teams started playing attacking football from the beginning of the match held at Bashundhara Kings Arena. The excitement of the match spread to the dugout. As a result, the Afghan coach saw a red card. And in the first half, neither team could score a goal, so the two teams went into the break with a scoreless margin.

Within ten minutes of falling behind, Bangladesh equalized the match. The budding star footballer Sheikh Morsalin, who missed an easy chance in the last match, did not make a mistake today. Bishwanath Ghosh’s cross from the right wing, Morsalin scored the goal in a placing that shook hands with the goalkeeper.
