Bangladesh defeated India in Asia Cup after 11 years

Bangladesh defeated India by 6 runs in the last match of Super Four of Asia Cup. With this victory, the Tigers won the Asia Cup after 11 years against India. Bangladesh scored 265 runs for 8 wickets in the scheduled 50 overs at the beginning of the match. In reply, India stopped at 259 runs.

India did not get off to a good start chasing runs. In the beginning, the two Indian batters were sent to the dressing room by the anointed Tiger pacer Tanhim Hasan Shakib. Rohit was out for zero runs and Tilak Verma was out for 5 runs. 55 runs came in the third wicket pair. Lokesh Rahul was out for 19 runs and Ishan Kishan was out for 5 runs.
