In the third and final one-day match of the series in Mirpur, the host Bangladesh scored 246 runs in the allotted 48.5 overs in Shanto-Mushfiqur-Shaqib’s fifty. As a result, visiting England needed 247 runs to win.
At the beginning of the match in Chittagong, Tiger team leader Tamim Iqbal Khan decided to bat after winning the toss. But Bangladesh did not start well with the bat.
