Banco Santa Cruz joins the Unared ATM network

He Holy Cross Bank announced its integration into the ATM network A networkwhich will allow its customers to make inquiries and withdrawals with their debit cards at the more than 1,700 ATMs available throughout the country without generating costs or additional commissions.

Fausto Arturo Pimentel Peñaexecutive president of Banco Santa Cruz, expressed his satisfaction with this alliance, which allows them to respond to a need for access by customers of the bank.

“This new link is part of our strategic vision of offering our personal and business clients an innovative, simple and personalized experience, making this large network available to them that concentrates 45% of the ATMs of the country”, highlighted Pimentel Peña.

Samuel Pereyra, general manager of BanReservations and Steven Puig, president of Banco BHD, representatives of the entities that signed the first agreement in 2017, welcomed Banco Santa Cruz to Unared.

“The incorporation of Banco Santa Cruz to Unared strengthens this alliance with the possibility that more and more Dominicans have access to their money when they need it and from wherever they are”, commented Pereyra.

While Puig assured “this union is a confirmation of the commitment that we have financial entities affiliated with our clients and the sector”.

Unared ATMs can be identified by means of a visual distinctive with the logo of the brand. The screensfunctionalities, procedures and operational aspects and services remain unchanged in the ATMs of each financial institution.

In addition to the Banco Santa Cruz ATMs, the clients of this entity will be able to withdraw cash without any transaction cost at Banreservas, Banco BHD,

Popular Association of Savings and Loans (APAP), Banco Promerica, Banesco, Banco BDI, Banco Caribe, Banfondesa and Banco Ademi.

The largest number of ATMs is concentrated in the National District and the province of Santo Domingo, followed by the city of Santiago de los Caballeros and the eastern part of the country, specifically in the altagraciawhich includes the tourist areas of Bávaro and Punta Cana. However, future plans are to continue increasing the network of ATMs and continue enabling more and more functionalities, so that customers can use this channel to carry out various operations financial.
