Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the name of Mickey Arthur as the team director of the national team today. Arthur will work as Pakistan’s team director for the next ten months. Along with that, he will take care of the Pakistan team’s strategy formulation, planning and implementation of everything.
With Derbyshire, Arthur will conduct his activities online most of the time. Arthur will be with the team only for the match against India in the upcoming Asia Cup.
Arthur will not be with the Pakistan team for the tour of Sri Lanka and against Afghanistan in the United Arab Emirates. However, Pakistan will get Arthur for the entire duration of the ODI World Cup to be held in India in October-November. Arthur will also be with the team for the tour of Australia and the series against the West Indies at home.
